Capital Genetic’s varieties adapt very well to different environments and improve their resistance and productivity over time due to the large investment in research and cutting-edge technology that the biotechnology company makes every year.
The varieties that have stood out the most this year have been the Obelix pear tomato, a great success for the grower in the national market, since it is a very productive variety with large-caliber fruits, resistant to pests and with a good performance at high and low temperatures in different geographical areas. The variety has been introduced in several areas of Cadiz, Malaga, Granada, Almeria and Murcia.
Work is being done on the inclusion of powdery mildew resistance for peppers.
This year, the company has also made new additions to its team to cover the different needs that have arisen due to growth.
